Serie A clubs chasing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder

By on December 7, 2011

Fiorentina, Lazio and Udinese are all interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar, according to Inside Futbol.

The Croatian international has played just four times – mainly down to injury – in the Premier League this season and is expected to leave White Hart Lane in next month’s transfer window.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp sees Luka Modric and Scott Parker as his first choices in the middle of midfield with Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon operating on the flanks – meaning Kranjcar’s opportunities will be limited.

The 27-year-old will be desperate to get game time ahead of net summer’s European Championships.

At least this is possible. Better than reading the Walker to Roma joke or the Bale to Juve one. The only players that go to Italy are south americans or africans. It’s a so what has been league that most people couldn’t tell you who’s in it, outside of the top 5 or 6 teams.
