La Liga News… Llorente to replace Higuain at Real Madrid

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has told Atletico Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente that a move to Real Madrid would further his career.

“Llorente? He would be good for Real Madrid,” said Del Bosque.

“He’s a player who can do well in any team in the world… For Real, Fernando would be ideal.”

Jose Mourinho is currently on the look out for another forward as Gonzalo Higuain is set to undergo back surgery which will see the Argentine on the sidelines for at least 3 months. The ‘Lion King’ – who has scored 10 goals already this season – is seen as an ideal alternative.
