Arsenal and Manchester United are tracking the progress of Barcelona’s Thiago Alcantara.
Alcantara, who has been dubbed by some as the ‘next Xavi’, has only made four appearances for the first team this season despite impressing in Barca’s youth ranks.
With competition intense for a starting berth, the 19-year-old could be tempted with a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United with both clubs showing an interest in the Spaniard.
