Liverpool are set to face competition from Turkish side Galatasaray in a battle to sign CSKA Moscow’s Keisuka Honda, reports talkSPORT.

The Reds will be keen on adding some quality additions to their squad to help improve their league form for next season and make a better attempt at returning to the Champions League.

Honda, 25, could be someone to add extra creativity to the Liverpool side and can operate on either the left side or just behind the forwards in an attacking midfield position.

The Japanese international contributed nine goals and 12 assists in 47 matches for CSKA Moscow in 2011 and would surely jump at the chance of playing in the Premier League.

The speculation suggests that Galatasaray could open the bidding for Honda at £9m with the potential of Serie A outfit Lazio also renewing their interest in the player.

As per usual………we will not end up going to get him due to lack of eagerness&to speed up the process of buying people…….we will jus hear rumours and then we won’t buy him……..good player but lack of speed to finish the deal on our side will be the downfall as have all the other players as well……………

FSG say that they will give KK money to spend…..let’s not get our hopes up………
