Ligue 1 News… Real Madrid defender heading to France
Out of favour defender Ezequiel Garay is set to leave Real Madrid after not impressing new manager José Mourinho.
Garay joined from Racing Santander in 2008, but has failed to make an impact at the Bernabéu.
A number of French teams have been put on high alert after the 24-year-old’s agent confessed that France was an ideal destination, with Paris Saint-Germian, Lyon and Marseille all mentioned.
The once capped Argentinian international seems like a sensible signing for the three French sides, as the Madrid bench-warmer shouldn’t come with a large transfer fee.
