Manchester United ahead of rivals in chase for Spanish wizard
Manchester United are the favourites to land Malaga’s tricky attacker Isco, according to the Daily Star.
The Spaniard is said to have alerted the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur with some impressive performances in La Liga and the Champions League this season but it is Manchester United in the box seat for the talented 20-year-old.
Speculation suggests that Isco could be readily available for around £16m with Malaga still suffering from the financial problems that saw them offload key players during the summer – including Santi Cazorla who joined Arsenal after just one year with the La Liga outfit.
Isco’s adaptability could certainly be one attractive factor for boss Sir Alex Ferguson who may be keen on adding to his creative midfield options with Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs rapidly approaching the end of their time at Old Trafford.
The Spanish Under-21 star has four goals for Malaga so far this term.
