Reports from the Daily Express are claiming Chelsea are lining up an audacious move for Liverpool star striker; Luis Suarez.

The striker who could be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season for £40 million is being targeted by both Chelsea and Manchester City.

Chelsea’s interest comes just 18 months after they completed the record signing of Fernado Torres from Liverpool for £50 million, its believed Suarez could replace the under fire Spanish striker at the end of the season.

Liverpool manager, Brandon Rodgers is desperate to keep hold of his talisman striker who has been in excellent form this season and without his goals, the Reds would find themselves closer to the foot of the table.

Liverpool are not forced into selling the striker who has recently signed a new long term contract but a big money move could trigger a move away from Anfield. The Uruguayan striker has been a totemic figure since his £22.8 million move from Ajax in January 2011.
