Off the pitch… Former Chelsea and Celtic keeper convicted in prostitute case

Former Chelsea, Celtic and Coventry City goalkeeper Magnus Hedman has been convicted of having sex with a prostitute.

According to laws in his homeland of Sweden, having relations with a prostitute is a criminal offence. Hedman argued that he didn’t know the woman was a prostitute and claimed he didn’t pay her.

Despite his defence, the retired stopper was fined $360 by the Swedish courts.

Hedman, who trained with Tottenham Hotspur back in 2009, made over 50 apperances for his country.

    Who cares he may well have been the absolute worst Celtic goalkeeper I have ever witnessed (although Zaluscka comes close) – remember the Lyon game, remember the injuries, remember the mediocrity ????????????? He couldn’t keep the ball (s) out even in his private life….Fud.
