Off the pitch… Former Chelsea and Celtic keeper convicted in prostitute case
Former Chelsea, Celtic and Coventry City goalkeeper Magnus Hedman has been convicted of having sex with a prostitute.
According to laws in his homeland of Sweden, having relations with a prostitute is a criminal offence. Hedman argued that he didn’t know the woman was a prostitute and claimed he didn’t pay her.
Despite his defence, the retired stopper was fined $360 by the Swedish courts.
Hedman, who trained with Tottenham Hotspur back in 2009, made over 50 apperances for his country.
