Middlesbrough vs Derby County confirmed lineups

A big clash in the Championship at lunchtime sees league leaders Derby County travel to in-form Middlesbrough.
The home side go top of the league with a victory, ahead of the rest of the weekend’s games. Derby could drop to as low as fourth by the end of the weekend.
Steve McLaren takes his Derby up north to face the club he started his career as a manager of. The former Middlesbrough and England manager has been overachieving this season with last season’s playoff runners-up.
With no lunchtime Premier League games today or any big matches around Europe, football fans may be interested in watching Sky Sports televised Championship game today.

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has named former Derby County loanees Daniel Ayala and Patrick Bamford in the starting lineup. Including the substitutes, the home side have four players on loan from Premier League sides in their team today, including Chelsea duo Patrick Bamford and Kenneth Omeruo.

Derby County were 3-0 winners over Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, with two goals from the league’s joint-second top goalscorer Chris Martin. The former Norwich City striker is seemingly the difference between Derby County being outside the top six and in top position, such is his ability.
Highly-rated youngster Will Hughes is amongst the substitutes, whilst former Stoke City right-back Ryan Shotton will lineup at centre-back alongside captain Richard Keogh.
