Arsenal make enquiry for Everton star

Arsenal have made an enquiry for Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta, according to the Times.

The report claims that Everton would be willing to sell their Spanish playmaker if the price is right.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now focusing his attentions on midfield targets after sealing deals for defenders Andre Santos and Per Mertesacker.

Arteta had claimed only recently that he would be staying at Everton but with a potential move to Arsenal on the table, it could be difficult for the former Barcelona man to turn down.

It is thought that Arsenal are also monitoring the situation of Sochaux’s Marvin Martin.

Delay is dangerous!For these new signings to settle down and blend with the rest is another thing.Wenger have u learnt your lessons?Pls don’t put me in doubt for the years to come.Wenger is a tactical coach,but he should change his philosophy for Christ sake!He will perform better.Apart from the latest signings,we still need 2 more players in the midfield.M’Villa and a known high rated midfielder like sneidjer.

I hate rushing things, a man cal himself PROF, buyin player in few hrs. lik a new manager in a team Ok my felow fans said delay is dangerous, pls tel wenger nt 2 brin fake or weak players lik the one he brought last season 4rm sevila. Wat a shame…bt i stil a gunas fans..
