Tottenham Hotspur to battle with PSG for Chelsea star
Published on October 11, 2011 by Matthew Wood · 5 Comments
Tottenham Hotspur will face-off against PSG for the signature of Chelsea star Didier Drogba.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is a long-term admirer of the 33-year-old and is now desperate to land his man after news broke that talks between Chelsea and Drogba over a new deal had halted.
The Ivorian’s current contract runs out at the end of the season, meaning that Tottenham could secure the striker on a free transfer next summer.
However, Spurs will face competition from ambitious Ligue 1 outfit PSG who want to add more quality to their squad and give Drogba a return to France.
