Chelsea ready to launch £25m bid for Portuguese international

The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea are ready to launch a £25m bid for Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho.
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is a big fan of the 25-year-old having worked with the player during his time in Portugal and it now appears he wants to bring the creative playmaker to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are keen on adding another midfielder to their ranks in the January window and could make a further attempt at signing Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur.
However, it seems a move for the experienced Portuguese international could now be more likely.
