Everton boss David Moyes is believed to be chasing former Wigan Athletic striker Hugo Rodallega, according to reports in the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old Colombian is now a free agent after his contract with the Latics expired at the end of last season.
Moyes is rumoured to be attracted to the versatile forward due to his wealth of Premier League experience. Rodallega has over 100 first-team appearances under his belt from his time at the DW Stadium after arriving in England in 2009 from Mexican outfit Necaxa.
Capped 43 times for his nation, the forward’s talents are obvious, however, he endured a relatively disappointing 2011/12 campaign with a series of injuries limiting his first team opportunities.
The Toffees have already clinched their first deal of the summer after announcing the signature of ex-Rangers midfielder Steven Naismith and are believed to be keen to add further depth to their squad ahead of the new season.
