Missing in action – Tomas Rosicky (Arsenal)
Missing in action: Tomas Rosicky
Last seen: 9 January, 2010 – The Czech midfielder came off the bench to score an inury-time equaliser to rescue a point for the Gunners against Everton.
Injuries have plagued Rosicky since he took over the hallowed number 7 jersey from Bobby Pires. A delightful goal in the FA Cup against Liverpool at Anfield is a memorable highlight for the ‘Little Mozart’, however, he simply hasn’t found his feet in England after three-and-a-half unsuccessful years.
The future: Tomas needs to secure a starting position at the Emirates and fast. He’s 30-years-old and desperate to play football so don’t be surprised that come August, the Czech has voiced his unhappiness – summoning a host of German clubs to fight for his signature.
