My career in pictures… Edin Dzeko
2003: Rising up through the academy, the Bosnian makes his debut for FK Željezničar as midfielder.
2005: Czech outfit Teplice sign Dzeko for €25,000; he is instantly sent out on loan for a spell at Ústí nad Labem.
December, 2005: Netting six goals in 15 games, Dzeko soon returns to Teplice in order to fight for a first-team place.
2007: With 13 goals in 30 games, Dzeko finishes the top scorer of the Gambrinus liga in the 2006/07 season.
June 2007: The striker catches the eye of Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath, who signs him for €4m. Dzeko finishes his first season in the Bundesliga with eight goals and seven assists and makes his international debut against Turkey days later.
2009: Dzeko is rampant during the 2008/09 season, grabbing Wolfsburg their first Bundesliga title by hitting an impressive 26 league goals and 10 assists in 32 league matches.
30 September, 2009: The forward nets his first Champions League goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford. He later finishes the top scorer in the Bundesliga for the 2009/10 season with 22 goals.
7 January, 2011: Breaking a Bundesliga record transfer fee, the Bosnian joins Manchester City for £27.5m after months of speculation.
