Confirmed Lineups: Chelsea vs Man Utd
Chelsea and Manchester United go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge this evening to complete the semi-final lineup for this season’s FA Cup.
One of these Premier League giants will join Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the final four by the end of the night.
The two teams for this evening’s game in West London are as follows:
Thibaut Courtois; César Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Gary Cahill; Victor Moses, N’Golo Kanté, Nemanja Matić, Marcos Alonso; Willian, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard
Substitutes: Asmir Begović, John Terry, Kurt Zouma, Nathaniel Chalobah, Cesc Fàbregas, Pedro, Michy Batshuayi
With a 10-point lead in the Premier League and no European competition, Antonio Conte has named a near full strength lineup. Willian in for Pedro down the right wing is the only change from their league side.
Pedro is joined by fellow countryman Cesc Fàbregas among a strong substitutes bench.
David de Gea; Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Matteo Darmian; Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba; Antonio Valencia, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ashley Young; Marcus Rashford
Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Eric Bailly, Daley Blind, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata
Good news for Manchester United is that Marcus Rashford is fit to start – the only striker available to the Red Devils this evening following Zlatan Ibrahimović’s suspension and the absence of both Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.
José Mourinho has named five defenders in the starting lineup, but either Antonio Valencia or Matteo Darmian are capable of playing further forward.
