3-4-3: Predicted Chelsea XI to Face Arsenal

Chelsea take on Arsenal in this season’s FA Cup final with Antonio Conte looking to do the double in his debut season in England.

The Blues raced away with the Premier League title and were able to rest players in the final games of the season to remain fresh for their visit to Wembley on Saturday.

Opponents Arsenal head into the final with a potential defensive crisis – Laurent Koscielny is suspended, Gabriel Paulista is injured and Shkodran Mustafi is a doubt.

Here is a Chelsea team I think we’ll see starting the FA Cup final.

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois
The Belgian goalkeeper is sure to start the cup final after another good season in goal for Chelsea.

Defence: César Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Gary Cahill
Antonio Conte will go with the back three that has served him so well during the Premier League season. John Terry will likely make the bench for the Blues one final time. Don’t rule him out making a late appearance if Chelsea have a big lead!

Midfield: Victor Moses, N’Golo Kanté, Nemanja Matić, Marcos Alonso
I think we’ll see Nemanja Matić partnering N’Golo Kanté in the middle of the park as COnte protects his defence from the likes of Alexis Sánchez and Mesut Özil, leaving Cesc Fàbregas on the bench. Marcos Alonso has been an excellent threat from left wingback this season and Victor Moses is a regular on the right.

Attack: Pedro, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard
Should Arsenal be lacking their regular defence then Eden Hazard and Diego Costa may have a field day on Saturday. Add Pedro to the mix and you have arguably the best attacking trio in the Premier League versus a makeshift defence. Michy Batshuayi and Willian are also available from the bench.

Here’s how Chelsea line up on paper:
