As the bid for the Olympic Stadium heats up, West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has told The Sun that Spurs’ bid has lost its credibility.

Brady’s comments were made in response to Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp’s warning that the Olympic Stadium would become a ‘graveyard’ if West Ham win the bid.

Brady said, “Harry Redknapp was told to do his best to scaremonger… But, for my mind, his words ended up being a form of Harry-kiri that sounded the death knell on any credibility Tottenham had to getting support… Theirs is a Spur of the moment money-making bid.”

A decision on the stadium is set to be made this Friday.
