Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is close to sealing a loan move to Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid.
The Togolese international, who signed for Man City in 2009, will help aid a forward-line crisis at the Bernabeu after Gonzalo Higuain was ruled out with injury for four months.
Adebayor’s first-team chances have been limited recently with the arrival of Edin Dzeko at Eastlands, in addition to Carlos Tevez, Jo and Mario Balotelli.
