Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is weighing up a move for Lyon wing-back Michel Bastos in the summer, according to reports coming out of the French media.
Speculation has heated on Frenchman Patrice Evra leaving the club at the end of the season and the United manager is thought to be considering his options in the transfer market.
Benfica’s Fabio Coentrao and Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos are names that have also been linked to fill the void.
