Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is set to complete a loan deal to Sunderland, according to the Daily Mail.
The former Portsmouth star has held talks with Sunderland boss Steve Bruce but was waiting on a London club to come in for his services.
With time running out in the January window though, Muntari has decided to make the switch to the North East in his search for first-team football.
Sunderland could be offered the Ghana international for £4m at the end of the season.
