Champions Bayern Munich racked up an impressive 4-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt. Bayern now find themselves in fifth place courtesy of goals from Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, Thomas Mueller and leading scorer Mario Gomez.

Borussia Dortmund remain seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after thrashing Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-1. Forwards Shinji Kagawa and Lucas Barrios were among the goalscorers.

Third placed Bayern Leverkusen dropped more points at home after squandering a 2-0 lead. Hoffeheim struck back twice to earn a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, performance of the week came from Kaiserslautern who thumped Schalke 5-0 at home. The men in blue are stuck in 15th spot, two points off the relegation zone on 13 points.
