Following Chelsea’s record-breaking swoop for Fernando Torres on deadline day, skipper John Terry has revealed that Manchester United and Arsenal should now be quaking in their boots.

Speaking of Chelsea’s new look frontline, Terry said: “They will be among the most feared strikeforce in Europe now… Any teams who say they don’t fear us, do so at their peril.”

Terry said: “Physically, he is one of the strongest out there. His pace is frightening, his heading is unbelievable and his finishing is top drawer, as we have seen to our cost. So I am delighted we have got him now.

“I know Fernando has said he is pleased to be on the same side as me… Believe me, I am just as delighted – although I still have to face him in training!”

That’s sweet, but just stay away from his wife, eh John?
