Manchester City face a season-defining tie next week when they travel to Old Trafford. Should they win, they will show for the first time that they are perhaps able to overhaul one of the ‘big four’ to win the title.
Carlos Tevez has once again proven his undoubted quality this year, hunting down Dimitar Berbatov who currently leads the goal scoring charts.
If City are able to beat United, that will leave them just two points behind, with the Red Devils having one game in hand.
Roberto Mancini’s pragmatic style has seen them hold the best defensive record in the league, so the stage is all set for City to take the game to United and stamp their authority on this seasons title chase.
