Off the pitch… Chelsea fans FAIL in banner for Fernando Torres

Chelsea fans have been taunted after a banner that was created in pilgrimage to £50m signing Fernando Torres was found to have an image of the Shankly Gates on it.
The banner, which seems an attempt at a direct copy of a similar sign that Liverpool supporters had made for Torres, includes a design at the bottom that resembles the Shankly Gates outside Anfield.
Tony Evans, a journalist for The Times, tweeted: “Just seen the Shankly Gates on Chelsea’s Torres El Nino banner. Could not be funnier. Or stupider.”
A number of football fans were made aware of the banner during Liverpool’s game with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
