5. Edinson Cavani (Napoli)

Another game, another goal. Cavani lit up an uninteresting clash 13 minutes into the game against Cesena with his 17th goal of the season, making him the leading scorer in Serie A with one more goal than Udinese’s Antonio Di Natale.

4. Mirko Vucinic (AS Roma)

Despite looking like he was on the end of a slaughtering, the Montenegrin looked like a danger to Inter throughout their clash with Roma, linking up with his midfield and Riise down the left and eventually getting his name on the scoresheet.

3. Alessandro Matri (Juventus)

The 26-year-old came back to haunt his former club Cagliari with a brace. He beat the offside trap to get onto a Milos Krasic through ball and hit a stinging strike at Michael Agazzi’s near post. Then, for his second, Matri pushed the ball out to Giorgio Chiellini on the left and hit a volley at the back post from the resulting cross.

2. Wesley Sneijder (Inter Milan)

Inter’s Dutch playmaker has struggled this season and spent long periods out after being diagonosed with anaemia, but Roma made the mistake of giving him huge amounts of space to work in, allowing him to pull the strings. However, he continues to take unnecessary shots from distance despite not having a great goal record.

1. Samuel Eto’o (Inter Milan)

The Inter striker continued his incredible goalscoring form this season with a brace against Roma. The Cameroonian sped past John Arne Riise on the Inter right and placed a left-footed shot past Julio Sergio and scored a penalty, while playing a major part in another two.
