On this day in 1992, Arsenal scored an incredible six goals in 18 minutes in a football league match against Sheffield Wednesday.
The game, which took place at Highbury, finished 7-1 to Arsenal with the hosts netting six goals between 71 and 89 minutes.
Alan Smith, Kevin Campbell (2), Anders Limpar (2), Paul Merson and Ian Wright scored Arsenal’s goals.
Despite the thrashing, Sheffield Wednesday finished one place above the Gunners in third place!
