League leaders Lille left it till the final minute to secure all three points away at bottom of the table Arles.
A last gasp header from Tzilio De Melo in the final minute was just enough against the hosts who played most of the match with ten men when Ben Idir saw red.
Champions Marseille could only muster a 1-1 draw away at Auxerre and would have fancied all three if Stephane Mbia wasn’t shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle inside the penalty box. The referee had no choice but to point to the spot and Valter Birsa converted for the home side just before half time.
Lyon kept their title hopes alive with a 2-0 win over Toulose at the Municipal De Gerland. A man-of-the-match performance from Lisandro Lopez saw him open the scoring just five minutes into the match before seting up Bafetimbi Gomis with a superb defence splitting through ball. Lopez now has eight goals for the season and his side sit third, two points from top.
