It looks like Roy Hodgson is going to keep his job for the time being and we expect him to get some much needed investment to re-build the current squad.
Hodgson, in our view, needs two new strikers. One a battleaxe target man who can hold the ball up and win more aerial battles than he loses. The second, a skillful striker who can drop short or go out on to the flanks and pick out that killer through ball.
This will give Liverpool the opportunity to play any system they want and to have an impact sub striker to change the game.
