Kevin Gameiro is set to leave Lorient and join Unai Emery’s Valencia.
The 23-year-old, who was also subject to interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, has scored eight goals in 17 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.
Reports in the Spanish press today suggest the youngster could be heading to the Mestalla for around £10m when the window opens.
“I have wanted to leave now for six months,” said Gameiro.
