Arsenal linked with £12m move for former Spurs player

Arsenal are preparing a £12m bid for former Tottenham Hotspur youngster Adel Taarabt, according to Footy Latest.

The QPR playmaker was close to leaving Loftus Road in the summer for PSG but ended up staying with the Championship winners.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to add extra creativity to his team and would have been impressed by Taarabt’s start to the season.

The Moroccan has previously expressed his disappointment at signing for Tottenham Hotspur instead of Arsenal and would no doubt jump at the chance to join the Gunners.

They’re more than welcome. A huge talent in the championship. A mediocre but greedy egoist in the prem.

If i were QPR at this point i’d take that. Taarabt’s not exactly set the premier league on fire and he’d be likely to leave in the summer anyway. For 12 million QPR could bring in the 2-4 more premier league quality players that they need.
