Ligue 1 side ready to test Liverpool resolve for star perfomer

Paris St Germain are ready to test Liverpool’s resolve for their midfielder Lucas Leiva.

Reports from France claim that big spenders PSG are preparing a £20m bid for the Brazilian international who was Liverpool’s player of the season for the 2010/11 campaign.

The speculation also suggests Inter Milan could be interested in Lucas but the Italians are unlikely to be able to match the French side’s spending power.

Lucas only signed an extension to his Liverpool contract over the summer and the Reds will be desperate to hold on to him.
