Chelsea ready to make third summer signing with Brazilian swoop
Chelsea are preparing a move for the their third summer signing with a £30m move for Porto forward Hulk, according to the Daily Express.
The 25-year-old, who predominantly plays as a winger, is reportedly Chelsea’s third target of the close season after they landed Werder Bremen’s Marko Marin and Lille’s Eden Hazard.
All this comes with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich still undecided on whether interim boss Roberto Di Matteo will land the position on a full-time basis after guiding the Blues to an FA Cup and Champions League double.
Hulk, capped on 10 occasions by Brazil, has the ability to both score and create chances with 23 goals and 15 assists in 45 matches for Porto during the 2011/12 campaign.
Meanwhile, Champions League final hero Petr Cech has announced that he will be extending his Chelsea contract by a further four years.
