Goals nobody remembers – Emmanuel Adebayor (2007/08)

By on March 15, 2011 - 103 views

Arsenal took the lead after just three minutes at St James’ Park with a sublime finish by Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Unfortunately for Gunners fans, the goal was pegged back by a second-half header from Steven Taylor which helped ease growing pressure on manager Sam Allardyce. The match finished a 1-1 draw and saw Arsenal four points clear at the top of the table going into the Christmas period.
