Out of favor at Man Utd, Nani looks to Emirates

Reports by the Daily Mirror claim that Arsenal are planning a sensational bid to swoop for Manchester United’s Portuguese winger, Nani.

After reports of Arsenal’s interest in the player circulated, fuel was added to the rumours as Nani was spotted and photographed near the North London club’s training ground on the same day as the Manchester derby.

Nani reportedly had a bust up with manager Sir Alex Ferguson in November and has not played since. The Portugal international has long been linked with Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg and the recent fallout means a move is likely this January.

All the signs point Nani in the direction of the Old Trafford exit door. The player has refused to sign a contract extension with the Red Devils and was even omitted from the club’s 2013 calendar.

The question remains however, whether or not he will head to Russia or to Premier League rivals Arsenal instead.

Hey, good news. At least dis will be a partial compensation for d loss of RVP to Old Trafford, dat is if this eventually turns out to be true. Unfortunately, it’s not usually so.
